Thanks everyone for a great season! Signups for the Spring 2008 Season are going to be at Sayre High School from 6-8 PM, February 4th to February 8th. Tryouts are on February 9th. NOTE: This is one week later than originally scheduled.  Sorry for any confusion, but we look forward to seeing you all then!

The Penn West Philadelphia Basketball League (PWBL) seeks to create a safe environment for children to come learn and play basketball in a structured manner. The children, aged 10-13, will be prepared for high school, not only in terms of basketball development, but also in terms of school life and challenges. We will do this by providing the children with mentors who develop a personal relationship with each child through basketball instruction. By successfully administering this program we also serve to bridge the gap between the West Philly community and the University of Pennsylvania. We encourage the ever increasing involvement with existing community organizations and individuals all working together to help the children of our community.

All games and practices are in the gym at Sayre High, 58th & Locust Streets. Practices are 6pm to 8:30 pm Monday through Thursday and games are 1:30 and 2:50 on Saturdays.
